Lockdown has made us re-look so many things that we take for granted and one aspect of our lives that is not talked about enough is how important domestic workers and childcare givers are in our homes so we can live our busy, highflying lives. It is sad that this same group of people remains one of the most vulnerable groups in the labour sector facing an uncertain future amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Olwethu speaks to Sherisa Rajah a labour, employment and human rights lawyer about how to rethink our working relationships with domestic workers and they lay our best practice for navigating this uncertain time.
