It's crazy that this film has 18% on RT. Like seriously? This movie is not only funny, it's heartbreaking, sad, whimsical, well acted. Especially by Curly Sue herself portrayed by Alisan Porter. Jim Belushi does a great job as well as Curly Sue's counterpart. He's sweet and kind but takes a Home Alone style beating that only Hughes could deliver in some scenes. We toss around "underrated" a lot sometimes but this movie is the epitome of underrated!
