Russ Curtis, Ph.D., is a professor of counseling at Western Carolina University and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. He teaches courses in mental health assessment, theories and techniques, integrated care, positive psychotherapy, and counseling supervision.
Although grateful for what he’s learned about traditional behavioral philosophy and techniques, he increasingly felt the field’s understanding of health and wellness was incomplete. As such, Russ began exploring alternative forms of treatment, including Ayurveda, energy healing, mindfulness, and meditation. Russ credits his grandmom and mom for encouraging his interest in near-death experiences, UFOs, starseeds, alternative therapy, and the freedom to question traditional systems and ideology.
I reached out to Russ on a whim after discovering his Youtube channel, which you can find in the show notes of this episode, while exploring star seed origins and specifically the Pleiadian collective, which we will get into a bit of in this conversation. I immediately felt a kinship with Russ based on how he navigates his professional clinical identity as a professor at an accredited university and his interest in otherworldly ideas, origins, and exploration that span beyond the limitations of a Western frame.
I hope you enjoy this episode with Russ Curtis as much as I did and may it be an invitation, a gift, and a medicine to explore beyond your own limitations and discover a bit more of who you really are, where you really come from, and what your mission is while you’re here.
