Welcome to Episode 1.3 of Beyond Deconstructing. I’m T Jamaica Pogue, affectionately known as Deconstructing Neuro, and I’m on a journey to help reframe how we understand and treat neurodivergence - in particular autism. We will be deconstructing the harmful stereotypes and assumptions about neurodivergent people and the many negative effects that hinder us from receiving a proper diagnosis and adequate accommodations to live a life where we can thrive instead of fighting to survive.

In this episode I had an opportunity to chat with AuDHD Coach, Jes Perkins, also known as Jes Diverges. Jes is an AuDHDer who has designed a course that helps neurospicy folks with building confidence in being their authentic, unmasked selves. Join us as we discuss just how impactful autistic people have been and can continue to be if given the proper platform, accommodations, and respect.

Be sure to follow Jes @ jesdiverges on TikTok and Instagram. You can also check out her website at www.JesDiverges.com and support her on Patreon: www.patreon.com/JesDiverges
