När antibiotika inte längre fungerar kan en vanlig operation bli livshotande. Europeiska smittskyddsmyndigheten uppskattar att 25 000 dödsfall inom EU varje år beror på antibiotikaresistens. I USA är de nästan lika många. Efter 2050 beräknas 10 miljoner människor dö årligen på grund av antibiotikaresistens – om vi inte vidtar åtgärder nu.

– Vi måste bli ännu duktigare på att använda antibiotika på ett klokt sätt.
