Joyce and I often choose a topic based on an itch we need to scratch. In this episode, Joyce takes umbrage with the phenomenon known as imposter syndrome. it occurs often when high performers, often in new roles, are stretched professionally. All too often the phrase disparages the leader in question by creating doubt about whether they “fit in.” Feeling like an imposter hurts a person's performance and diminishes their job satisfaction. Unfortunately, most of us experience imposter syndrome at some point or another during our careers.

Is there another way to view the doubt and negative self-talk when victimized by the imposter syndrome saboteur? Joyce and I think so.

Let's explore:
