Today we have Kevin (they/them) from @kevindoesarfid talking to us about all about ARFID, what mainstream treatment gets wrong, and the directions we need to be going. Kevin is a disabled, mad, and queer artist from Western Massachusetts located on pocumtuk land. Kevin's art and activism speaks to their lived experience with mental health in an unfiltered way. They exhibit a passionate effort toward making the world a more accessible place for everyone. And their lifelong struggle with things like ARFID, mental health, chronic illness, etc fuels this passion. Kevin works from a client led lens that is rooted in anti-carceral care and harm reduction. You can find Kevin and their work over at @kevindoesarfid on IG.
