Bert Green is the president of RVA Makers, a non-profit that fosters a community around people who make awesome stuff and feature the creative talent that makes Richmond such a great city. In this episode, Bert Green talks about learning to build, make, and shoot a young age. Now he's not only part of RVA Makers but also running an off-grid mill where he's turning out custom products for clients big and small.
The maker culture really extends past Richmond, Virginia. If you want to get into DIY, look for a local maker group in your area.
