Starring Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, Laura Dern, Rami Malek, Jesse Plemons, and more, this film tells the story of Freddie Quell, a WWII veteran with PTSD who struggles to adapt to post-war life. Along his journey, he meets Lancaster Dodd, the leader of a religious cult known as The Cause. Turns out, it is the cause of a whole lot of trouble (heh, that was a joke). This film takes some getting used to, but clearly, it has a powerful message... But Is The Master Good?
