Shin splints are a really pain in the tibia. If you have ever taken up running as a new hobby or you have jumped back into activity a little too soon you have probably had this soreness along the front or inside of your lower leg. While it is a frustrating injury it is also one you can address in a preventative fashion and you can correct. It takes some time and patience but if you address all the factors it will be well worth it in the end. Focus on form, technique and rehab and you'll be good to go in helping correct this extremely annoying injury.
