In my chat with Nicole we didn't dive into her spiritual practice or connection with source very much. But it was very clear that she is divinely guided and inspired on her path.

Rare are those who spend their lives living with a condition that makes them feel alone, different and disconnected - and dedicate their lives to being the change they wish existed. My guest today knows what it means to be resilient and committed to her purpose. Nicole's experience of growing up in a mixed race family and having an aunt with a visible disability encouraged her to become curious about the challenges minorities and people with disabilities face.

Her passion and conviction are so evident in her tone and attitude.

Tell us a bit about yourself Nicole!

In college I studied business, conflict resolution & industrial organizational psychology. On a road trip I and my co-collaborator discovered a modality called The Needs Languages and thought it would help people so I started writing booklets. The Needs Languages, which is a system to identify and categorize personality types. It is fast and intuitive helping you feel connected and providing a sense of belonging in all your relationships.

What is your favorite quote of all time, and why?

Be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words. Be careful of your words, for your words become your actions. Be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits. Be careful of your habits, for your habits become your character. Be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny
