In the last episode I said I was going to talk about why Michael Jordan wasn’t as good as everyone makes him out to be.. But that’s not true.
Growing up in Australia we had the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan hype in the early 90’s I think it was. We had the basketball trading cards in school but that kind of drifted away as quickly as it came in.
I literally never watched a game of basketball and have still never watched a full game of basketball. It’s not as much of a popular sport here in Australia as some others like Australian Rugby for example.
Even though I’d never watched a game, we knew all about Michael Jordan.
I learnt a lot more though after watching the Netflix documentary on the Chicago Bulls during the Jordan era.
What lesson did drive home and make simply obvious?
