About Steve Bowen:

Steve is a retired, happy and generally unconcerned 68-year-old who was diagnosed with COPD three years ago but is now exercising hard. He appreciates he can’t reverse this disease, but his efforts have been rewarding, while his lung capacity hasn’t improved, through exercise, his health and fitness has improved, and his breathing recovery after and during exercise has improved substantially.

His mantra is Do what you can while you still can, don’t be shy about how little or much activity you do, any exercise is better than nothing.
