What comes to mind when you hear the world ADDICTION? Drug and alcohol abuse? Food? Gambling? Sex?

We believe that there are many more very common obsessions that stop us from reaching our goals, but most of those behaviors aren’t seen as addictions because they’re socially accepted. So, what addictions are limiting YOU from living the life you really want? And is there such a thing as a healthy addiction?

On this episode of Destined to Be, we’re exploring addiction, any obsession of the mind that overpowers the body. We explain the difference between a chemical and a behavioral addiction, describing how judgement, comparison and overreacting qualify as addictions and what we can do to recognize our own craving for drama.

We go on to discuss the danger in addictive behaviors that lack immediate repercussions and reflect on how an obsession can keep us from becoming the person we’re destined to be. Listen in for insight on striving for integrated living over so-called balance and get addicted to becoming a better version of yourself!
