"Fear is going to be a constant in your life. And if you're not willing to learn how to work with that fear, if you're not willing to learn how to manage that fear, if you're not willing to learn how to utilize that fear to empower you, you're going to be stuck in mediocrity for the rest of your life."

For the longest time, fear held me back from achieving my goals, even though I'd experienced a wide range of emotions, from sadness to joy.

But I was too focused on doing rather than being.

It wasn't until a gift of desperation forced me to confront my fears that I realized how unsafe I felt in my body. Being present in the moment allowed me to internalize some powerful advice that led to significant changes in my life.

When we don't feel safe in our bodies, it can trigger our autonomic responses and prevent us from being present in the moment.

So, how can we overcome our fears and be present in the moment?

In this episode of "Destined to Be," I'll share my recent experiences of connecting deeply with others, cultivating meaningful experiences, and holding space for myself. These elements (which are often sidestepped) have been critical to my growth and evolution.

Giving ourselves grace, compassion, and the ability to breathe is essential, especially when we don't feel safe in our bodies.

In this episode, you'll hear my insights on why feeling safe in our bodies is crucial, how holding space for ourselves can prevent triggers, and why breaking free from fear is the key to living intentionally.
