Dawn Jackson Blatner’s career has been anything but ordinary. This dietitian and certified specialist in sports dietetics (great story there!) is also a media pro, the author of two acclaimed books, a primetime reality TV show winner, and World Series ring holder from her time working with the Chicago Cubs. Dawn’s advice to those wondering what’s next in their career, “Opportunities find you when you are enthusiastically doing the work.” You won’t want to miss this inspiring conversation about leading with your strengths and how a commitment to service can be a source of bravery.

In this episode, we discuss:

  • The advice that launched her dietetics career
  • How creating a “food culture” got her a World Series ring
  • Being honest about your strengths and the value in authenticity
  • Dealing with rejection and the power of perseverance

Hosted by Kristin Houts
