A Deep-Dive Discussion with Turquoise Peart on Cultivating an Inclusive Culture through Impactful and Mindful Communication.
Turquoise is a motivational speaker who highlights the collective human experience through the power of voice. She is passionate about connecting with humanity and uses her words to heal, inspire, transform, unite and impact communities and people. Turquoise has been featured in USA Today’s 2021 “Race in America” Special Edition and was recently appointed to the Community Relations Commission of Oak Park, a suburb right outside of Chicago, where she will work under a Chair and Chief Diversity Officer to help cultivate a more diverse, inclusive and equitable local community through its initiatives. Turquoise has held many different leadership positions in the DEI space, and she brings her bold and innovative ideas in driving strategic change in the work that she does. She has been commended for her emotional intelligence, ability to bring an equity focus to foster a culture of reputable professionalism, compassion, and innovation. Also, Turquoise is bilingual and she graduated with her MBA at the age of 19.
