Once upon a time everybody knew someone who was in the service. Of course there was a draft then, and you pretty much had to go into the service. There was a little bit of that with the Vietnam War, and people were not as eager to join the services they were in World War II. Now we don't have a draft we don't have so many people that know what the life of the service member is like. For those who do, we love it and wouldn't change it for the world. There are other people who chose to join our military and they're not even citizens, but they chose to help defend it with the idea that they might become citizens. Now there's the catch. The devil is in the details – might become citizens. Thank you for your service, now go home? I don't think so… Is that really how they signed up? Do you really think they would've signed up? We have some deported veterans who want to tell you their stories. Please listen carefully, and let's get them some help, because this just should not have happened
