462: The US Federal Trade Commission's New Rule on Non-Competes

In July 2021, President Biden issued an Executive Order which encouraged the Federal Trade Commission to curtail the unfair use of non-compete clauses and other clauses that may unfairly limit worker mobility. The FTC recently proposed a new rule that would ban employers from imposing non-competes on their workers - the FTC is seeking public comment on this proposed rule.
