Have you ever heard of Stockholm Syndrome? You might be unaware that forgiving certain people is attached to it. You could also be unaware that various traumas might be unforgivable, even when there is pressure to forgive everyone for everything. Most notably, especially during Black History Month, the Black population is often required to forgive situations that other populations experience less often or not at all. The exact population who has been one of the world's most infamous ghostwriters has been undervalued for centuries and forced into forgiving oppression that continues to happen long after the apology.
