We're back (finally) to finish looking at our brilliant listener Jamie's thesis exploring the connections between vampiric folklore and Harry Potter. Zac and Lucy are in more thoughtful and serious moods than usual, and we enjoy delving a little deeper into characterisation and worldbuilding than usual. But we're still Fangfiction, so we still go on plenty of ridiculous tangents. BIG language warning for early in this episode, and Elon Musk fans (are there any of you left?) may want to steer clear altogether.

Jamie is on the socials @my_agricultural_romance. On Archive of Our Own he is CryptidCatKid, where he is planning to do some similar worldbuilding and rewriting with the Supernatural finale in November.

If you're interested in learning more about the myth of the White Snake, you can listen to an adaptation on the Myths and Legends podcast episodes 164 a-c.

You can follow us on Instagram @FangfictionPod. You can also sign up for Lucy's Substack at https://lucyhagan.substack.com/ and read some of Zac's fiction at https://h-ne.com/. Please consider rating us 5 stars and leaving us a review on Apple Podcasts, to help the goffiks find us.
