Women's rights have come a long way thanks to activists who used their voices to drive change. Examples include the right to vote (19th Amendment 1920), Equal Pay Act (1963), Equal Rights Amendment (1972), Roe vs Wade (1973), Women's Educational Equity Act (1974) and Pregnancy Discrimination Act (1978). Until the 1970s, women could not acquire credit or a mortgage. There are always challenges, from equal pay and gender quality to reproductive rights and affordable health care. Use Your Voice.
