The Disney animated classic ALADDIN is remade in live action by director Guy Ritchie. The story about a street urchin who finds a magical lamp and tries to win the heart of a princess stars Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, and Will Smith as the wise-cracking Genie.
Also, Mark Pfeiffer and Paul Markoff add to the Filmbound Canon, their personal collections of all-time great films released beginning in 1995. Mark chooses Jonathan Glazer’s visionary UNDER THE SKIN with Scarlett Johansson as a man-hunting alien. Paul selects Jeff Nichols’ drama MUD with Matthew McConaughey as a drifter seeking to reconnect with the longtime love of his life.
