How much—if any at all—of your personal life should you be sharing on social media? There’s a difference between a “business” and a “brand,” and if you want people to connect with you on a personal level, then you have to be willing to share a little about the person behind the account. Sharing personal stories builds trust and authenticity, and lets your audience in on your personal values and the kind of person they can expect to work with. In short, it builds super-fans who buy from you because they know exactly who you are and connect with you on a personal level. In this episode, Jill shares her own experiences and insights on sharing her own personal life, and discusses the balance between sharing personal content and providing educational content so you can build meaningful connections with your audience, while also providing them with strategies that gets them results.
