Erika and I are back! Let’s start this one off with a question, “Can you get a client that is too stressed or nervous to be hypnotized? The answer is we don’t think so! We have never come across such a client though we have had plenty of nervous and anxious client. Here’s what you need to know to be successful with them.

There are typically two main sources of fearfulness (stress and anxiety) that clients can experience when the come into your office. One kind is fear of hypnosis and what might happen in the session. The other is the kind of fearfulness that is the reason why they are coming in to see you, i.e. she is just a nervous or shy person, or has a fear of closed places, or is generally an insecure person.

Top 4 Things You Need to Know to Handle These Clients

1. A great pre-talk removes fears about the hypnosis session.
2. How being a model of calmness and confidence helps your client.
3. Insider tip – have her practice relaxation before the session.
