She was the first lady jockey to ride a winner at the Cheltenham Festival when she took the Foxhunters on her own Eliogarty in 1983, then the first to be successful over the Grand National course when she won the Aintree equivalent three years later on the same horse. We chat about the joint Wynnstay/Flint and Denbigh point to point as well as her stewarding at Cheltenham this time and her daughter, Immy having a great ride in the hunter chase riding D’jango.
