Have you ever been told that salvation comes through good works? What about water baptism? Does that save you? Does speaking in tongues keep you? Does repeating a prayer save you? Does paying 10% of your money to a church save you?
Most of us would say that works do not save us, but when you think about it, often, these very acts are where we place our faith for salvation.
