Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a national champion...? Well, 16-year-old Catherine Phant is just that. She and her teammates won gold at the Canadian National Championships in May, taking the volleyball world by storm ~ one serve, one set, one spike, one game at a time. I first met Catherine when I joined Team Harmony as a goal-setting coach 3 years ago. She was always cheerful and very much engaged in our goalsetting projects, which makes her a perfect choice to be my very first guest of my new podcast Going For It ~ Building National Champions. I sat down with Catherine to discuss her journey with the team, from grass roots when it was a team of 2 players…right through to that fateful moment of winning the national title. Allow me to introduce you to Catherine Phant ~ Number 12 on Team Harmony. Join me in discovering a dozen reasons to be inspired by this impressive young athlete.
