Mason Wright, also known as the Buff Runner on Instagram, shares his journey into ultrarunning and his upcoming project to run across America. He started as a former football player weighing 285 pounds and gradually lost weight through running and exercise. After participating in Spartan races and briefly racing professionally, he fell in love with ultrarunning. Mason's project, called Project 3434, aims to run a total of 3434 miles from Seattle and end in Miami Beach in 2026 and support for single parents through the Single Parent Project.
