Do you feel heartbroken (yes, heartbroken) when you see a client leave your business? Don't you want to sever all ties with those who don't want your business anymore?
Isn't it a drag on your emotional well-being that your product or service is being refused? Yes .. you do! Own up to that emotion! Seth talks about losing clients and how seeing their lives proceed with him stings. He understood that he had to protect himself and look at the positives of it all. It is the positives that help shape the success he will have going forward.
Take care of the clients you have and not focus on the ones you lose. Extend that to your family ... and you will miss your wife. It will be harder to bond with your son or daughter. Protect your confidence and energy. Know that obstacles that comes your way. Accept the hurt that comes, but take care of your family, your clients and yourself. Don't lament too hard on the things that leave you. Take good care of the ones who are with you. Take care of your clients.
Take care of your body. Take care of your relationship with God. Take care of your family. If you do that ... they will take good care of you.
