You have heard competition can drive you to greater heights, but is it possible that competition can hurt you?

Can the focus of crushing your opponent ruin friendships/relationships?

Can your bottom line be adversely affected as to your overall growth?

Then, it's time for you to change your focus.

Competition is not all bad. In fact, it can push you to new levels. However, focusing on the aspect of competition to the point of obsession can, and will, short circuit your growth and the growth of everything around you.

Find the heart, strength, and ability to compete, ultimately, with yourself. Chances are that you will go even further in 'competing' with yourself than you ever will in using another person as a measuring stick for your success.

Be a better you vs. trying to crush others around you - and you will be respected by all circles of life.
