Monte Farber is a one-of-a-kind character. He’s an acclaimed astrologer, psychic and author of over 40 books published around the world in fourteen languages. Monte was the resident psychic for Jim Cramer's popular financial website TheStreet.com, where he made bi-monthly economic and stock predictions with uncanny accuracy. It’s fitting that I met Monte serendipitously when some years ago I walked into his and his wife, Amy Zerner’s East Hampton shop, The Enchanted World Emporium. My wife Navah and I were studying astrology at the time so it was a fortunate encounter where we ended up having our charts read by Monty for the rest of the day. An essential characteristic of Monte’s creative approach to living is his childlike sense of wonder, playful fun, and adventure.
