Animal activism is a social movement that advocates for animal rights and welfare and seeks to protect animals from exploitation and cruelty. It challenges the legal and moral distinctions between human and non-human animals, promoting the idea that animals should not be treated as property or used for food, clothing, entertainment, or research.
