Adult acne can be stressful both mentally and physically and is usually treated topically or with intense prescription drugs. But underlying issues such as gut health, hormones, and stress play a huge role in our skin health.

Today we are taking a deep dive into skin health with Emilia Papadopoullos, who uses her education in nutritional therapy and training with the Institute of Functional Medicine to help people with stubborn acne finally achieve clear skin and regain their confidence through diet and lifestyle changes.

What We Discuss:

✨The connection between skin and hormones in the gut

✨What blood sugar has to do with skin health

✨Why it’s so important to eat (nearly) first thing in the morning

✨How PCOS affects the skin

✨Why women need to support their testosterone

If you are someone who has always struggled with your skin and it feels like you have tried everything then this episode is for you!

Emilia Papadopoullos developed an interest in skin health from an early age as she developed chronic acne in her teens and was later diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Unable to clear her skin through medications and skincare, Emilia entered the world of nutrition, which finally helped her understand what her body needed to naturally rebalance her hormones and achieve clear skin.

Alongside her nutritional therapy qualifications, Emilia has done additional training with the Institute of Functional Medicine. She now successfully helps people with stubborn acne finally achieve clear skin and regain their confidence through diet & lifestyle changes.
