In this beginner's breakdance tutorial, we go over how to do the Toprock called the “Crossover” step. In this video, you will learn How to do a front and back crossover step, a two 8 count combination to practice, how to add the "Groove" to your crossover step and what to do with your arms The crossover step is one of the most recognizable Toprock steps that most beginners first learn. Some tips for learning how to do the Crossover Step: - The Crossover step in essentially the same as the 2 step where you still focus on resetting or centering your body on the odd counts or the "bass" in the music and stepping across your body, either in front or behind, on the even counts or the "snares" in the music -Just like the 2 Step, make sure to dive into the water vs test the water. Put your weight into the direction you are stepping vs. keeping your weight on your back/center leg If you like this video and would like more tutorials like this, make sure to like the video, give it a thumbs up and leave a comment below =] Get More Great Tutorials - Subscribe: ? https://goo.gl/nF2pkF Share this Video: ?https://youtu.be/l1XFiuu2nB4 Join My Patreon Community To Support These Tutorials ? https://www.patreon.com/Darrenrwong For More Breakin' Tutorials, Tips, Courses and Private Lessons ? https://www.darrenrwong.com Music: Tonez&Re-C - Kyoto by @TONEZPRO (OFFICIAL) https://soundcloud.com/tonez-pro Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported— CC BY 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Say Good Night by Joakim Karud https://soundcloud.com/joakimkarud Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported— CC BY-SA 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ **Disclaimer** These tutorials are meant to help spread the knowledge I have been fortunate enough to come across throughout my years of dancing.
