Hell Ya switches things up a bit and gets serious by sharing how he found reprieve through the outdoors while dealing with depression, cancer and the eventual death of a loved one. He also shares how this idea of "Hiker Trash," helped him find the small bits of purpose in life. He retells "The Ojibway/Anishinaabe Creation Story" (apologies for butchering any names) and the parallels of that story and what he learned on his 2016 Appalachian trail hike.
Much love and respect to the Anishinaabe. Full Creation story found: (https://www.pipekeepers.org/uploads/3/1/3/0/31306445/the_ojibwe_creation_story.pdf)
