5 ⇢ Let's Talk Growing Up Feeling Envy, Resentment, or Jealousy Towards Family Members
Manage episode 306593960 series 2993075
Were back! This week we talk and address internalised feelings about our family members and reflect on how they made us feel as children, and now as adults. Along with stories relating to how we grew up, we analyse our experiences and identify how they affected us or our ability to process our emotions. Lastly, we are human and that means we are subjected to having "bad days" so our level of concentration is lacking in this episode, so alternatively it makes for a very true representation of our manic-ness. But its very funny so we hope you enjoy our choas. :') Thank you endlessly for taking the time to listen each week, our souls are so happy!
We are here for you, and so are others - you are never alone!

Act For Kids
Act for Kids is an Australian charity providing free therapy and support services to children and families who have experienced, or are at risk of child abuse and neglect. The effects of child abuse and neglect can be significant and lead to lifelong problems. It can impact a child’s brain development, how they feel and think about themselves, how successful they are at school, even their physical development and skills. In the long term, it can lead to drug and alcohol abuse, mental illness, difficulty developing and maintaining good relationships, unemployment, and all sorts of social disadvantage all due to their childhood experiences, and not their fault. Our services have expanded to include integrated therapy, support for vulnerable families, special workshops to empower kids and safe houses in remote Aboriginal communities. Please if you can, donate or spread awareness about this amazing orgnanisation. You have the ability to help heal our planet, one small step at a time! ♡
