Pop singer songwriter Connor Nelson joins the show to take us behind on his latest single ‘Black’!

Known for his dreamy and emotive vocal ability and expressive lyrics, the young singer-songwriter writes music that is close to his heart, often inspired by personal experiences. Combining elements of R&B, synth, and electro-pop with alternative influences, Connor is a skilled artist who knows how to seamlessly merge seemingly opposing sounds.

Written from the personal experience of liking someone who suddenly ends all communication, Connor Nelson's "Black" shares the emotions and frustrations felt when one person has feelings for the other, who doesn't feel the same way back. Titled "Black" as it alludes to the colour or phone screens that are not lighting up with text messages.

We also discuss the fact that this is the first song Connor self produced, singing toplines for EDM tracks, and more!
