Welcome to the new podcast, It's All Made Up, Anyway!
In today's episode, I'm talking about:
- Building my first business, including all of the coaches I've invested in over the years
- Why mindset ended up being the key to my initial success
- Dealing with imposter syndrome in my first business and getting stuck in a cycle of overworking
- Burning out in my first business and not understanding why when I thought I loved it
- Complicated feelings about loving some parts of my business while feeling drained by others
- Discovering I’m a multi-passionate person and need to have a business that reflects that
- Quitting a book deal and having a spiritual awakening
- Reflections on burning my business down, what I would do differently, and what I learned from the whole experience
- Dealing with my own self-sabotage throughout the pivoting process like avoiding committing to one thing and avoiding boredom
- Finally committing and settling in my new business, which led to me being ready to re-launch the podcast
- Dealing with hate and criticism from family during the pivoting process, which ultimately affirmed I was making the right decision
