During challenging times, I want to share my personal strategies for supporting myself. With the right tools in place, we can navigate life's curveballs. I've found solace in essential oils. I've been using Frankincense, Copaiba, turmeric, and pink pepper oils along my spine to help my nervous system. By inhaling these oils daily, I'm able to release tension and pent-up emotions.

Additionally, grounding has changed my life. Taking off my shoes and putting my feet on the ground while taking deep breaths grounds me and centers me in the present moment. It is helpful to spend time facing the sun in the morning, letting its rays balance my circadian rhythm. I find it helpful to take a break from the digital world and reconnect with nature to nurture my mind and body.

We need to do things that bring us joy. Think about the things you enjoyed as a child. Dance brings me immense joy, and I'm taking dance classes to nurture my inner child.

I've found that breathwork nurtures my soul, and even though finding time for exercise is difficult, there is always time for breathwork. I've included a link to one of my favorite breathworks. By creating space to sit with my emotions and validate sadness, I've grown.

While continuing my own healing journey, I've taught my kids about grieving. Healing takes courage, and it's not always easy, but all emotions are welcome. I can navigate the ups and downs by protecting myself from negative energies, staying clear and balanced, and grounding practices.
