Are you a perfectionist? Or are you pretending? Many of us hide behind this idea of perfectionism because it feels safe.
When we put confines, stipulations, or the pressure of perfection on the situation or task, it's easy to hide behind our default programming.
The programming that:
- Holds you back from starting or trying new things out of the fear that you won't do well or do it perfectly
- Disallows you to be your true, authentic self
- Planted the idea that perfectionism is even a human possibility in the first place
Because secretly, we all want to be the best. We all want to win. We all want to be perfect, whatever the hell that is.
Drop your need & lust for "perfectionism," & all of a sudden, life becomes a learning experience where you find the way that works for you. You are no longer held back by or confined to perfectionism. Instead, you're dancing gracefully with progress, her cooler sister. :)
