Obviously, the answer is in the title, the medical profession existed as far back as 2100 BC, but if you want to know the details, we'll discuss them. It is obvious that from the very beginning people have tried to heal themselves and their loved ones, but when did healing become a separate, distinctive profession? And how did it manage to survive in those distant times? I mean, if you risk your health and life every time you see a patient, will you really stay in the profession? And why the hell didn't the birth of medicine mean the birth of medical science?
