038 - A Different Kind of Sex Talk
Manage episode 419150274 series 3431972
Why are westerners so weird about sex? Why are we squeamish and scared of having a conversation about sexual energy on a larger scale? Why is it so normal and commonplace for every other living thing aside from humanity?
Today we're going to look into our culture's history of prudishness and how that has led us down a long road of highly misguided shame, confusion, and fear. In 2024, I'm inspired by the budding awareness I've seen in folks finally starting to make themselves comfortable around this topic, and this episode is my attempt to jump in on the conversation. Settle in, it's a wild one!
