Welcome to Life-Centered, a podcast about how looking to the natural world is impacting technology, society, and how we live our lives.

In this episode I get a chance to sit down with Taryn Mead, whom I have known for over a decade... and usually when we get together we end up talking all night. She let me work on my interviewing skills, and I think we got to some interesting points including her Biomimicry career trajectory, her current work as the Marie Curie Research Fellow at the University of Exeter in the UK, circular economies, microbiomes, and the importance of empathy.

You can find more about Taryn and her work:

Show Notes

  1. Bureo Skateboards

  2. Ellen MacArthur Foundation

  3. Ten Percent Human

  4. FDA bans Triclosan in Soap

  5. The Tree of Knowledge: The Biological Roots of Human Understanding
