Does your success require others failure? Do we have to step on top of each other to rise or shall we help each other to rise? Intrinsic motivation: Doing something to get better for personal interest. We will keep doing this regardless of the outcome. Enjoy the process, celebrate the result, if there is one. Extrinsic motivation: Doing something to get to a certain outcome. If we don't get there, it will be disappointing, and if we get there, we may not have a reason to continue anymore.
