Thank you for tuning in for another episode of Life’s Best Medicine. Mike Davis (@GuyNAustin on Twitter) is a self-described “random guy in Austin who got tired of being sick and overweight at the age of 48 and decided to do something about it.” After achieving amazing results simply by kicking soda, he tried the ketogenic diet. This adoption of the keto diet enabled him to normalize his blood pressure and shed roughly 25% of his bodyweight in 10 weeks with no exercise at all.

In this episode, Brian and Mike talk about the Christian virtue of forgiveness, the importance of open, honest discussion and self reflection, the psychology of ‘buying in’ to a particular perspective or political opinion with insufficient evidence, the prevalence of hypocrisy in every human institution, the theological issues of hell and God’s judgement, the idea of manufactured consent, ethical issues with certain organizations’ responses to the Covid pandemic, and why making decisions based on fear is wrong.

Thank you for listening. Have a blessed day and stay healthy!
