Thank you for tuning in for another episode of Life’s Best Medicine. Hal Cranmer is the owner of A Paradise for Parents Senior Living—an assisted living home with experts who have had lots of success improving the physical and cognitive health of its residents. After serving in the Air Force and working in real estate, Hal began opening assisted living facilities in Arizona.

Also joining the show is Terry, whose husband, Dave, has been living at Hal’s assisted living home. Dave suffers from aphasia and was experiencing a life of steady cognitive decline before Terry discovered Hal’s Paradise for Parents. Now, thanks to the dietary interventions and other healing protocols offered at Paradise for Parents, Dave has been steadily improving.

In this episode, Brian, Hal, and Terry talk about Dave’s—Terry’s husband—mental decline due to aphasia, why A Paradise for Parents is different from most other assisted living homes, why these differences are so effective for improving residents’ physical and cognitive health, how following the keto diet, doing red light therapy, sauna, and following other measures/protocols have revolutionized Dave’s health, how ketosis heals the brain, and some drawbacks of standard Western approaches to cognitive healthcare.

Thank you for listening. Have a blessed day and stay healthy!
