Welcome to Lightweavings podcast, where we ask the questions, "What's dimming your light and are you ready to do something about it?"
Those questions might make you feel uncomfortable, but they need to be asked in order for you to reclaim your power and step into your joy.

In this episode of Lightweavings Podcast, Wendy and Dawn discuss the practice of restraint, and how it can positively affect our relationships, our influence, and our well-being.
Practicing restraint can be an important component of the path to wisdom. Restraint refers to the act of controlling or limiting oneself, which means regulating one's desires, behavior, or language. This is often done to help one avoid engaging in harmful activities and to direct one's attention toward constructive and beneficial behaviors.
On the path to wisdom, practicing restraint can help individuals to avoid impulsive decisions and actions that may lead to negative outcomes. By being mindful of their thoughts and actions, individuals can cultivate a sense of self-awareness that can lead to more effective decision-making. Cultivating this self-control can also help individuals develop patience, empathy, and understanding, which are qualities that can serve them well in any situation.
