Katherine is appointed as Elizabeth's guardian. Not only does she have a very long "to-do" list on Elizabeth's behalf (doctor, dentist, finances, etc.) she and the family want - no - need to know what has been happening to Elizabeth. So many questions. It'll take time and patience and indeed perseverance.
