First we discuss the Joe Swanberg film starring Jake Johnson, Win It All (2017). A story about a degenerate gambler that gets in over his head and has to turn his life around. Then we discuss the Rick Famuyiwa film Dope (2015). About three nerds growing up in south central and when they get caught up in a drug deal, they have to figure out how to get out of the trouble circling around them.

Next we have our Against the Grain segment where we discuss films where our opinion of goes against popular opinion. First Nick thinks that Cedar Rapids is more entertaining than the audience Tomatometer suggests. Then Joe tells the world why they are wrong about Never Ending Story.

We are off next week but we select two films for our next episode. Nick picks the Al Pacino film Manglehorn and Joe selects the Rebecca Hall film from 2016 Christine.
